The text addresses the influence of globalization on economies and organizations in the 20th century and how this has led to a focus on competitiveness, quality and effectiveness to address sustainable development. The emergence of entrepreneurship and innovation is highlighted as fundamental aspects in public, private and social organizations. Research plays a crucial role in understanding and explaining organizational complexity amid challenges such as technology, sustainable development and innovation. The second issue of RELACIS magazine focuses on issues of inequality, complexity and laws in different countries, highlighting the role of Higher Education Institutions in development.
