Abstract

The review examines the book Cyberspace and Education: New Horizons in Digital Teaching and Learning, highlighting how the expansion of digital environments has transformed the ways in which education is taught, learned, managed, and experienced. Drawing on research conducted across different institutions and educational contexts, the book addresses the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition toward cybereducation, examining educational innovation and leadership, pedagogical strategies, educational continuity, the use of digital technologies, virtual learning environments, and gamification. The work emphasizes that technology serves as a catalyst for educational transformation and that its integration must be accompanied by policies aimed at reducing digital divides and ensuring adequate conditions for learning.

Overall, the review highlights the relevance of the book for understanding the educational transformations brought about by the pandemic and the challenges associated with the growing integration of artificial intelligence and other technologies. The studies reviewed point to the need to strengthen hybrid educational models that combine in-person and virtual learning, while promoting a human-centered approach capable of responding to emerging technological dynamics without losing its ethical and humanistic dimension.
