The main objective of this research work is to address the assemblage theory postulated by Manuel DeLanda as a social theory that falls within the paradigm of flat ontologies. Within this framework, we propose three specific objectives. First, to understand the insertion of assemblage theory within the so-called neorealist or ontological turn, with special emphasis on the heterodox movement of speculative realism. Secondly, working with the paradigm of flat ontologies to ask ourselves about the place of difference within said approach, that is, if it responds to a difference of immanent order or rather to a coupling of realities motivated by a difference of order. transcendent. Finally, we ask ourselves if the theory of assemblages and political ontology allow us to elaborate a theoretical-political approach that is coherent with the critique of capitalism.
