The objective of this article is to present the possibility of rethinking power from Manuel de Landa's theory of assemblages. In order to do this, we will present some basic aspects of assemblage theory. Subsequently, we will address the objection that the philosopher elaborates against the reified conceptions such as society, revolution and power, from the criticism of both microreductionism and macroreductionism in favor of the rescue of the intermediate levels that make possible the notion of mesoscale and emergent properties. Continuing with this approach, we will locate two specific examples of power assemblies with the emergence of the home office and the decrease in traffic during the context of confinement on the northern border of Mexico.
