Call for Paper 4(1) “Sociocultural transformation, educational innovation”
Latin American Journal of Humanities and Educational Divergences is a biannual open access publication, edited by Grupo J. J. San Marcos (Peru), which aims to disseminate research in the field of humanities and education that problematize critical topics on contemporary society in order to contribute to its fair, symmetrical and dignified transformation. The journal receives unpublished and original works of a scientific nature, especially scientific articles (qualitative and/or quantitative research, as well as conceptual reflections), book reviews and occasionally interviews. For the call for its fourth issue, the journal organizes a dossier on Convergences of Thought: Art, Culture and Education in Perspective, focused on a global context marked by social, technological and environmental challenges. These areas of knowledge become vital tools to promote critical thinking, creativity and interdisciplinary dialogue. Through their multiple manifestations, art and culture not only interpret reality, but also reconfigure it, while education acts as the bridge that translates these reflections into concrete actions for the construction of a more equitable and inclusive future.
This edition seeks to explore how the intersections between art, culture, and education can open new horizons for human understanding, while encouraging the analysis of fundamental concepts of philosophy and the humanities in general. Authors are invited to propose innovative approaches, critical perspectives, and interdisciplinary studies that illuminate the transformative role of these disciplines in today's society.
